WHAT IS A WORKING INTERVIEW?
A working interview is much like a trial period or shift. Usually, only one or two shifts where to potential new nanny comes into the home to better understand the family dynamic and their needs. The family will get a better idea of who the nanny is and if she will be a good fit for them. We recommend letting the nanny interact with the child/ren, leave the room if you would like, but don't leave the home. Working interviews can last anywhere from an hour to a full working day, so try to establish beforehand how long you plan for the working interview to last so everyone can plan accordingly.
