The Holiday season is special for so many reasons, One of our favorites being all the sweet treats! Here are a few easy recipes that you can try with your children. they are sure to love them!

Christmas Tree Brownies:

What you’ll need: Brownie mix, one package of candy canes, and icing/sprinkles, and/or glitter to decorate with.

Try this adorable sweet treat with your little ones! First step, make a batch of brownies, it doesn't matter what kind - just your favorite! We recommend making them in a round cake pan. After they are baked and completely cooled off, you will cut them into triangles, making them into a tree shape. From here, you can add whatever toppings you would like to decorate your “trees” with. This is where you can let your kids decorate and get creative! The final step is to use a knife or skewer to poke a small hole in the bottom of the brownie. Break off a small piece of your candy canes and insert into the “trunk” of your tree. These sweet treats are so fun and cute and make a perfect snack for your little ones!

White Chocolate Holiday Mix:

What you’ll need: 5 cups of cheerios, 5 cups of chex mix, 2 cups of nuts of choice (optional), 1 pound milk chocolate m&m’s, 10 oz mini pretzels, 24 oz white baking chocolate, and 3 tablespoons vegetable oil.

Try this yummy holiday mix with your kiddos! In a large bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. In a microwave safe bowl, combine your white baking chocolate and your vegetable oil. Microwave and stir until melted. Pour over your large bowl mixture and stir. From here you will need large sheets of parchment paper to lay the mixture out on so it can dry! Once dry, you can break apart and package into cute holiday ziploc bags or holiday tupperware. You can have your kiddos help with any stage depending on their age. Have them help with measuring, stirring and packaging the holiday mix! This yummy treat makes a great gift for teachers or friends!

 Banana “Snowman” Pancake:

What you’ll need: One container of pancake mix, ⅓ cup of mashed banana, powdered sugar, blueberries, pretzel sticks.

This delicious and cute recipe is perfect for a slow wintertime breakfast! Mix your pancake mix together with your mashed banana. Then you will need to create 3 different sizes of round pancakes in order to build your snowman pancake! Once your pancakes are done, put some powdered sugar down on your plate to act as snow. From here you and your kiddos can build your snowman! Add the blueberries for eyes and pretzels for arms and you will have the cutest snowman pancake!

Enjoy one of these sweet treats with your kiddos this Holiday season!
